Must have travel essentials

I travel quite a bit! It took me a long time to figure out my meal plan while I’m away from home. I like staying at an Airbnb that has a kitchen so I can cook. I go to local farmers markets and organic grocery store chains to buy fresh ingredients. I found that baking something is simple and easy. I try to cook so that I don’t have to eat out all the time. I will post more about my travel cooking and packing skills.
Today I’d love to share my must have items. Apple cider vinegar! It’s so essential and nature’s gift. It helps my digestion, hydrates me, and also balances my system. I start and end my day with it.

I used to bring a whole bottle with me but it’s not practical. I recently started to use an empty Kimchi Gut Shot bottle as my travel bottle (I got it from Whole Foods market). It’s flat, strong and the perfect size. A full bottle lasts 2 weeks for both me and my boyfriend.
I don't like labeling my belongings but I found that it helps when I am traveling. (Also it helps people know what they are).
Another thing I love to bring with me is dried habanero. Yes, habanero. I love spicy food. I need a little kick to make my food more delicious, but it was very challenging for me to bring spicy sauces all the time. Many times I ended up throwing away the sauces because of the lack of refrigeration available when travelling. Also it can be heavy and smelly too. So dried habanero is my way to go! I bought them when I was in Montreal. This spice store is located inside one of my favourite farmers market called Marché Jean Talon. I didn’t have enough time to look around but I was able to find this bag of dried hot spice. The funny thing is my boyfriend wasn’t happy when I bought it, but now he loves it. He is planing on buying more bags of spices when we go back to Montreal lol. One thing I really love about it is you only need to use just a little bit at a time. It’s dry, lightweight and all natural.

This little pieces will last more than 5 trips depending on how long I am out. Sometimes it's hard to break smaller size at the restaurant. I think I am going to make smaller pieces.

Lastly, I like to bring some tea bags. A long flight or drive drains my energy. There are so many times I feel like I am going to be sick. Instead of taking medication, I love to have these powerful teas. They are highly anti-inflammatory and helps boost my immune system. I feel the difference from regular aroma teas. I don’t have my favourite tea this time, but they all work well.

I don't have my favorite tea here. It's been out of stock for long time. I hope I can find it soon and do a posting about it. It's the same brand showing on the left side; Pukka tea.
Here's my travel essential. Labeled nicely. ready to pack more personal stuffs now.

These are the most powerful travel essentials for me. However I have more things to share for travel: cookware, personal products, etc. Stay tuned!
