Douglas Hotel - Vancouver's new stylish hotel

Beautiful and stylish brand new hotel located in the heart of Vancouver, next to BC Place Stadium. The Douglas shares the building with it's sister brand JW Marriott. It can be a little bit challenging to get the Douglas lobby on the 6th Floor. This complex called Parq Vancouver has 2 different hotels and Casino. I've been there on 3 separate occasions, so now I don't have any issues getting around.
When you get in the beautiful entrance, take the elevator and go up to the 6th floor. You will see the Douglas lobby there (See my walking image below). On the other side of the Lobby area, there is a bar which is also very modern looking as well.

You will finally see the elevator that goes to the suites. I am very exited to share this elevator photo. Douglas is well known for it's beautiful elevator. I am sure you can find lot's of selfies taken in there. It's just beautiful and feels very luxurious. It's hard to describe. My boyfriend said he fells like being inside of a spaceship and I said it feels like a high end tanning bed. I think it's best to see it in person.

The one bedroom suite was so nice. It's the biggest one bedroom hotel suite I ever been inside. The Ritz Carton downtown Toronto has the second biggest, that i've been inside. The Douglas feels more modern and stylish. The room service I tried was my style too. My room was facing BC Place Stadium and the intersection of the streets.
The washroom was just so boutique and elegant. We enjoyed a couples sink and everything had a marble finish (I can add photos of the washroom later.) The bedroom was just as big as the living room. First thing I noticed about the bed was the sheet sets. It's unbelievably good! I was searching for own my bed sheets for so long because I want the best quality. I felt the quality right away. It's actually better than what I currently use! I told my boyfriend that I want this bed set all night lol I asked room service when we checking out about it. She said the Douglas uses high quality but the one bedroom suite has extra extra high quality bed sheet sets.
I will call the Douglas to get more info about the bed sheet set. lol

I'd love to stay here again when we go to BC next time. We were so busy, so I didn't have a chance to enjoy the many restaurants and amenities. I am sure the rest of the hotel will look beautiful too.
🙌 We recently went back to the Douglas again. It was a smaller room but still very stylish. They now have new iMacs in the main lobby area.
